Our Mission

The Moodus Reservoir Preservation Group (MRPG) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the environmental well-being, quality, health, and enjoyment of Moodus Reservoir, a 500-acre lake central to East Haddam, CT. Since 2010, we've been working with local and state agencies to address threats like invasive aquatic plants, raise public awareness through education, and implement programs that protect and improve the Reservoir's ecosystem. We also actively promote volunteerism to further our mission.
